How to install APK on your Android app?

Now that you have created an Android app, it is time to launch it on Google Play.

However, you can always install this APK file on your personal Android mobile device to test it first-hand before uploading it to the Play Store. Let us look at how you can do so.

Download APK file

• Navigate to the Download App section on AppMySite. 
• Once you’ve generated a build for your app, you can see the Download APK button in the Android section.
• Click on Download APK. The APK file will start downloading on your device.

Transfer APK to mobile device

• Now transfer the APK file to your mobile device.
• For example you can email the APK file to yourself.

Prepare your mobile device

• On your mobile device, navigate to Settings > Security > Device administration > Unknown sources.
• Turn on the toggle against Unknown sources to allow apps to be installed from sources other than Google Play Store.

Install the app

• Locate the APK file on your mobile device.
• Click on the file to install the app. Confirm the installation in case your device asks for your approval.

Your Android app has been successfully installed on your device. You can now preview and test the app on your own device.
