Troubleshoot your connectivity issues

The Troubleshooting section enables you to identify and fix connectivity issues with your website and app. Connection errors arise when you are unable to connect your website and your app due to several factors.

Reasons for connection errors

Connection error occurs when you are unable to connect your website and your app, due to several factors.

Some of the possible reasons connection errors arise are listed below:

  • WooCommerce REST API keys have not been generated with the Read and Write access.
  • The keys have not been filled correctly in their respective fields.
  • CS & CK do not belong to an Administrator user.
  • Your website does not have a valid SSL certificate.
  • Permalink is not set to Post Name.
  • Your web hosting environment is blocking HTTP Authentication.
  • Your web hosting environment does not support Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS).
  • Your WooCommerce REST APIs are affected by a third-party plugin or a security configuration.
  • Your website’s “.htaccess” must be optimized for WordPress.

Run the troubleshooter

Follow the steps below to run the troubleshooter:

  • Click Run Troubleshooter on the top right corner of the Troubleshooting section
  • If your connection is stable, you will pass all the connection tests. 
  • In case the connection is not stable, you will see certain errors. You can diagnose the issue further by clicking on Fix error. 

Improve your website and app speed

Once the troubleshooter finishes loading, you will see a message saying that your website is slow in case the response times are not optimal. You will also find a link here to the WordPress Web Hosting add-on
