Before AppMySite, we ran a digital agency

Before AppMySite, we spent almost a decade running WishACloud, a digital design and development agency. We designed websites, built web applications and mobile apps, and helped businesses work through complicated technology decisions.

WishACloud was founded in 2013 by our founder, Vikas Nangia. He later incorporated AppMySite, Inc. in Delaware in 2018 because he believed we had to build for the world, with the United States as our largest market.

We felt mobile app development was too complicated

That experience showed us how difficult mobile app development was. A single app would require designers, backend and API developers, separate Android and iOS developers, quality assurance teams, infrastructure, and ongoing maintenance and compliance with the app stores.

The cost was only part of the problem. Even fixing a bug or making an important change could mean fixing the bug, testing a new build, submitting it to the app stores, waiting for approval, and asking users to update the app. The process was slow, expensive, and far more complicated than it needed to be. If websites could be built and updated so easily, we kept asking why mobile apps could not work the same way.

So we built a better way to build apps

Our experience led us to build AppMySite: a simpler way for anyone to create, manage, and grow a mobile app.

We stopped rebuilding the same foundations
