Generate the Android and iOS app files you need for testing, publishing, migration, and future rebuilds directly from your app dashboard.
App builds are the final app files created after you finish configuring your app. Once your design, content, settings, integrations, permissions, and publishing details are ready, you can generate the files needed for Android and iOS distribution.
AppMySite lets you build Android APK files, Android AAB files, and Apple IPA files from the Download section of your app. You can create your first build, rebuild when important app settings change, and keep track of previous builds from the same place.
This gives you a cleaner way to manage app delivery without setting up your own build environment, using a Mac for iOS builds, or manually maintaining separate records for every version you generate.
After your app is configured, you can open the Download section and choose whether to build for Android or iOS. The Android section gives you APK and AAB files, while the iOS section gives you the IPA file needed for Apple App Store submission.
Before a build is created, you may need to review build settings such as app identity, package or bundle identifiers, version details, certificates, app permissions, and App Store information. These settings help make sure the generated file matches your app, your brand, and your publishing requirements.
Build processing usually takes a few minutes. Android builds are generally faster, while iOS builds can take longer depending on the app and configuration. Once the build is complete, the file becomes available from your app dashboard.
Some changes require a rebuild. This usually happens when you update something that affects the installed app itself, such as build configuration, app identity, permissions, certificates, or newly supported app features. Regular content changes do not always require a new build.
Build history helps you keep track of previous versions. You can review earlier builds, see version details, check app identifiers, and access older APK, AAB, or IPA files when needed.
If you already have a live app built elsewhere, migration settings help you move to AppMySite without asking users to install a completely new app. When the app is published as an update to the same app store listing, existing users can receive it as a normal app update.
